With a history dating back to 1866, it’s little wonder parishioners were adamant their new church and parish centre would present an uplifting and inspirational atmosphere, while maintaining continuity between the old and the new. The building needed to be familiar and welcoming, while avoiding any semblance of ostentation. The new building incorporates echoes of the past, designed to accommodate the historic cross, altar and stations of the cross that came from the old church. The resultant complex is elegant, light and filled, providing a variety of spaces for the parish community and the many activities that take place within the complex. ​

The new complex officially opened in February 2011.
