This black barn pavilion style home is orientated to the sun and takes advantage of extensive rural views to the north and west. The owners desire for a variety of sun lit areas to be available throughout the day has been met. Extensive areas of glass allow the owners to enjoy their love of all things plants, with outlook over and easy connection to the gardens. As is a feature of many of our designs, the building form creates several options for sheltered courtyards on all sides of the house: you don’t get views like this without also getting wind.
